IWF Doctoral Seminar May 10+17, 2022
The IWF Doctoral Seminar provides doctoral candidates with the opportunity to share their research with the professors and fellow doctoral students affiliated with the IWF Institute for Economics.
We are pleased to announce that the following doctoral candidates will present their research in the Summer Semester 2022:
Tuesday, May 10, 2022:
- 14:00-14:45 Franz Josef Zorzi: “Do rebate contracts change waiting times and availability of drugs?” (Advisor: Prof. Dr. Harald Tauchmann)
- 14:45-15:30 Daniel Perico Ortiz: “Questions, answers or sentiments?: What drives perceived volatility in earnings conference calls?“ (Advisor: Prof. Dr. Jonas Dovern)
Tuesday, May 17, 2022:
- 14:00-14:45 Martin Friedrich: “Firm Expansion in Imperfect Labor Markets” (Advisor: Prof. Regina T. Riphahn, PhD)
- 14:45-15:30 Jennifer Feichtmayer: “Intergenerational Transmission of Welfare Benefit Receipt: Evidence from Germany” (Advisor: Prof. Regina T. Riphahn, PhD)
Each presenter is allotted 30 minutes plus a total of 15 minutes for discussion.
The presentations will all take place in person at Lange Gasse 20, Room 4.154. We hope that many of you from the IWF-Community will be able to attend these presentations!
